The procedures for cleaning up bodily fluid spills are:
Wear disposable gloves before handling any bodily fluids (urine, feces, blood, or vomit).
Clean and disinfect all contaminated surfaces.
Place blood contaminated materials in a tied or sealed plastic bag and discard them immediately.
Remove gloves immediately after use, place them in a tied sealed or otherwise closed plastic bag, and discard them immediately.
Wash hands thoroughly after removing and disposing of the gloves.
